An urgent need to include social sustainability in the practice of project management

Abstract

The focus of the study is to understand the significance ofintegrating social sustainability in project management to achieve
long-term sustainable business. Further, it will develop an argument in favor of the urgent need to include social
sustainability in project management by formulating suitable discussions through previous literature and peer-reviewed
journals. The conclusions of this study are intended to contribute to the present literature, particularly, the impact of social
sustainability on project success and its importance in the practice of project management.
