While vitamin D is implicated in various hair disorders, its relationship with AGA, particularly in South Asian populations, is still debated.

Methods: This case-control study was conducted at a regional hospital in Solan and involved 20 male subjects: 10 with AGA and 10 age-matched controls. Serum vitamin D levels were measured, and participants underwent clinical evaluations. Statistical analysis included unpaired t-tests and chi-square tests.

Results: Vitamin D deficiency (<20 ng/ml) was more prevalent in AGA cases (60%) compared to controls (25%) (p=0.005), with an odds ratio of 4. Mean serum vitamin D levels were significantly lower in AGA cases (33.1±10.6 ng/ml) than in controls (40.3±9.51 ng/ml) (p=0.01). Severe AGA cases exhibited lower vitamin D levels compared to mild to moderate cases, though the difference was not statistically significant (p=0.32).

Conclusions: This study highlights the association between low vitamin D levels and AGA. Routine monitoring of vitamin D levels in AGA patients may be beneficial. Further research is needed to assess the therapeutic potential of vitamin D supplementation in AGA treatment.
2024-07-17T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2024 https://eduzonejournal.com/index.php/eiprmj/article/view/658Global Capitalism, Gender Norms, and Resistance: A Marxist Perspective on Talking of Muskaan2024-09-15T09:34:12+00:00Mr. Vishwalingam M S, Dr. K. Saravananamitbhardwaj@gmail.com
This article examines the intersections of globalization, gender, and class through a Marxist framework in HimanjaliSankar’s Talking of Muskaan. Set against the backdrop of modern Indian society, the novel explores the struggles of a queer protagonist, Muskaan, as she grapples with societal expectations, gender norms, and capitalist structures that marginalize non-conforming identities. Through a critical analysis of the narrative, this article argues that globalization, while often seen as a force for progress, perpetuates patriarchal and capitalist ideologies that reinforce traditional gender roles and exacerbate social inequalities. By situating Muskaan’s experiences within the broader context of global capitalism, the article highlights how gender and class oppression are intertwined, with the commodification of queer identities emerging as a key theme. This Marxist reading reveals how the novel critiques both local and global systems of power, while advocating for resistance against the capitalist and patriarchal forces that regulate gender and sexuality in a globalized world.
2024-07-18T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2024 https://eduzonejournal.com/index.php/eiprmj/article/view/659Exploring Novel Difficulties in Emergency Medical Services and Beyond by Conducting an Extensive Literature Study2024-09-18T09:15:23+00:00Muhannad Abdullah Alamri, Raied Hulaial Alenazi, Bader Hmoud Alanazi, Waleed Nassar Alresheedi, Hamdi Saad Hamdi Almutairiamitbhardwaj@gmail.com
In developing countries like India, the ever-changing terrain presents a number of challenges for emergency medical services (EMS), despite the critical role they play in providing rapid medical treatment and transportation during emergencies. This literature review delves into these obstacles, highlighting the issues of unpreparedness for prehospital treatment, insufficient personnel, poor infrastructure, and the inconsistent inclusion of emergency care in medical curricula. The evaluation stresses the importance of improved triage systems, stronger interagency interaction, and the incorporation of OR techniques to optimize response times and resource allocation. The paper goes on to discuss how international collaborations could enhance India's EMS system and how initiatives are underway to develop specialized emergency medical training programs. The findings highlight the critical need to enhance emergency treatment infrastructure, especially in rural areas, to provide effective and timely patient care.
2024-07-19T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2024 https://eduzonejournal.com/index.php/eiprmj/article/view/660An Analysis Comparing the Gastrointestinal Transit of Two Different Formulations—Pellets and Tablet2024-09-18T09:18:10+00:00Hamoud Salem Al-Mutairi, Abdullah Mohammed Alotaibi, Shorouq Majed Al-Mutairi, Sami Mubarak Al-Mutairi, Abdulaziz Saeed Alshahraniamitbhardwaj@gmail.com
The oral formulations of pellets and tablets are compared and evaluated in this study to determine how long it takes for the gastrointestinal (GI) tract to move through the body. A total of eight participants took part in the research, and each of them was given both formulations. Gastric emptying (MGET), small intestine transit (MSITT), colon transit (MCTT), and total transit time (MTTT) were the four stages at which the times of gastrointestinal transit were measured that were taken into consideration. The findings demonstrated that pellets have a significantly shorter time required for the stomach to empty (4.8 hours) in comparison to tablets (8.5 hours), which indicates that pellets are more quickly released from the stomach. On the other hand, pellets had a significantly longer colon transit time (29.5 hours) than tablets did (16.3 hours), which resulted in pellets having a longer total gastrointestinal transit time (36.2 hours) compared to tablets (27.4 hours). Despite the fact that pellets are able to pass through the colon more slowly, they are able to pass through the stomach more quickly, according to the findings that were confirmed by the analysis of individual subject data. Based on these distinct transit profiles, it appears that pellets have a higher initial absorption rate, but they may also result in a longer residence time in the gastrointestinal tract, which could potentially affect the overall effectiveness of the drug and the patient's level of comfort.
2024-07-20T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2024 https://eduzonejournal.com/index.php/eiprmj/article/view/661Challenges in Combining Pharmacogenomics with Electronic Health Records in the Field of Biomedical Data Science and Informatics2024-09-18T09:20:44+00:00Meshari Ahmed Alzahrani, Waleed Salem Alghamdi, Abdulrahman Owaynan Alshaibaniamitbhardwaj@gmail.com
The discipline of biological data science and informatics has considerable obstacles in integrating pharmacogenomics with electronic health records (EHRs). Pharmacogenomics is the study of how genetic variations affect drug responses. To do this, it combines information from molecular science, pharmacology, and clinical medicine. Addressing genetic variability among populations, developing data interchange standards, merging disparate information, mining scientific literature, and comprehending how structural variations and quality articulation impact drug absorption are some of the major hurdles. Furthermore, given that genetic information is unique to each individual, securing sensitive patient data is essential. The intricacy of integrating genetic data into clinical practice is highlighted by the fact that, although some healthcare systems have successfully integrated pharmacogenomic decision support systems, or clinical decision support (CDS), into EHRs, these initiatives typically rely on institutional infrastructure and custom-fabricated rules. In order to improve tailored medicine, effective CDS devices incorporate latent and active cautions that direct physicians in drug prescription based on a patient's genetic profile. Still, there are a lot of issues with EHR analytics, such as the need for standardized, repeatable procedures to impede research reproducibility and the difficulty of phenotyping and data pre-processing. These problems include the need for interdisciplinary cooperation, advanced computation sharing, and methodical procedures in order to fully address pharmacogenomics in healthcare.
2024-07-21T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2024 https://eduzonejournal.com/index.php/eiprmj/article/view/662Physiotherapy Practice during Covid-19 Pandemic: A Systematic Review2024-09-19T06:06:00+00:00Khaled Bassem Alzamil, Azzam Saad Almutairy, Abdulaziz Mohammed Alhaider, Taibah Abdulrazag Alhumaidamitbhardwaj@gmail.com
The aim of this review is to identify the current study results for the effect of COVID-19 in physiotherapy practice.
Scanning of recent research articles was done through- Google scholar, Pedro and Pub-Med from 2021-
2023.COVID-19, Physiotherapy, Respiratory therapy, physiotherapy Students, Clinical Practice, Medical Education
and physiotherapy practice like terms were used to search data base. From the period of naturalism to the modern period, the way of various literary genres highlights many high thoughts for human life. Thus, in the history of Tamil literature, the period of naturalism, referred to in general terms as the Sangam period, embodies love and war as social values. 18 books like Thokai Ettuthokai) books and Pattu books (Pathupattu) are naturalistic literature. It can be said that the life of the Tamil people through these literatures was based on the five types of land (Thinai) division found in Tamil Nadu. Chola country was mostly Marutham land, Chera country was mostly Kurinji land and Pandya country was Mullai land. Proprietary society and state formation originated in Mullai land. Trading cities were built on weaving. The lifestyle of the people was based on such geographical backgrounds. These were aimed at people's morals. The romantic and heroic emotions inherent in all people were emphasized in the literature of the naturalistic period. The literary tradition of that time was compiled in traditional Tamil grammars such as preface, theme, and epithet. The antecedent acts as the conditions and the theme as the background for the occurrence of the thematic morality. Ethical principles for life were constructed as natural ideals. Among these, religious ideas do not find place as institutionalized religious ideas such as Jainism, Buddhism, Saivism, and Vaishnavism. Tamils who were very involved in natural life, admired the natural qualities of the people. Also, the deities of the five types of land (Murugan, Mayon, Indra, Varuna, Kotravai) and their worship can be found in the literature of the natural age. In this way, natural life can be seen in many places like worship, business practices, relationships etc. In this way, legacy (Kodai) traditional thoughts are found in Purananuru hundred which is one of the thokai texts which are the literature of the naturalistic period. The impermanence of life is highlighted and the gift of giving and helping others in that life and alleviating the poverty of others is highlighted. Every stage of the software development process was done with the utmost attention to produce a high-quality output. The development process often incorporates a number of quantitative and qualitative methods. The final software product's features ought to meet every requirement. A crucial component that measures the likelihood that a software program will function before it genuinely fails to carry out its intended purpose is reliability. Software testing is a crucial stage that required enormous amounts of resources. This testing step required more than half of the budget, which is why it was conducted in a controlled setting. The critical point at which software product testing was terminated is thought to be the software product release time, and and it might be released onto the market, in which case the software product ought to be dependable and of high quality. In order to calculate the software release time, we used the exponentiated-gompertz function as the testing effort function in this paper's investigation of the idea of software testing effort dependent software reliability growth models. As a result, three genuine time datasets were used to compute the testing effort dependent models that were built. Least squares estimation is used to estimate parameters, and measures such as Mean Squared Error (MSE) and Absolute Error (AE) are used to compare models. The performance of the suggested testing effort dependant model outperformed that of the other models.
2024-08-03T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2024 https://eduzonejournal.com/index.php/eiprmj/article/view/697A Novel Approach to Image Hashing Based on Discrete Wavelet Transform and MATLAB Implementation2024-11-16T04:38:11+00:00Vishwajeet Jadhav, Rameshwar Kawitkaramitbdwj47@gmail.com
This paper presents a novel approach to image hashing using Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) and MATLAB, designed to improve the robustness, accuracy, and efficiency of image-based content authentication and retrieval. Image hashing plays a critical role in applications where identifying or verifying image content is essential, such as digital watermarking, image retrieval, and copyright protection. Traditional hashing techniques often face challenges in maintaining robustness against image distortions, such as scaling, rotation, and noise. In our proposed method, DWT is employed to decompose the image into sub-bands, from which distinctive features are extracted and transformed into a unique, compact hash code. The MATLAB implementation of this approach facilitates efficient computation and real-time performance evaluation. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed method not only enhances the robustness against various image manipulations but also improves retrieval accuracy and computational efficiency when compared to existing image hashing techniques. This research contributes a more resilient and scalable solution to the field of digital image processing.
2024-08-04T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2024 https://eduzonejournal.com/index.php/eiprmj/article/view/698Urban Flooding and Drainage Challenges in Gurugram: A Resilience Framework2024-11-16T10:42:59+00:00Indu Bala, Dr. Sandeep Kumar Yadavamitbdwj47@gmail.com
Gurugram, a rapidly urbanizing city in India's National Capital Region (NCR), has experienced rapid development over the past few decades. However, this growth has come at the cost of inadequate urban planning and drainage infrastructure, leading to recurrent urban flooding, particularly during the monsoon season. This paper investigates the key causes of urban flooding in Gurugram, including unplanned development, inadequate drainage systems, loss of natural water bodies, and the effects of climate change. By analyzing the city's drainage infrastructure and its socio-economic impacts, the study proposes a comprehensive resilience framework to mitigate the risk of flooding. The framework emphasizes the restoration of natural ecosystems, the modernization of drainage infrastructure, climate-adaptive urban design, and community participation. Furthermore, it explores governance and policy interventions necessary to improve urban flood management and suggests the integration of smart technologies for flood monitoring and early warning systems. The recommendations provided offer practical steps for building long-term flood resilience in Gurugram, safeguarding both its residents and infrastructure.
2024-08-06T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2024 https://eduzonejournal.com/index.php/eiprmj/article/view/701An Analysis of Mission Amrit Sarovar in Sonipat District (Haryana)2024-11-16T11:34:46+00:00Vivek Malik, Dr. Sudhir Malikamitbdwj47@gmail.com
This study analyzes the implementation and impact of Mission Amrit Sarovar Policy in Sonipat district, Haryana, focusing on community engagement in water conservation and pond rejuvenation.
