Abstract

The World Trade Organization (WTO) provides the fundamental framework for conducting international trade and establishes the norms that govern it. The core idea behind the WTO is to promote free trade, allowing international trade to flow as freely as possible among member countries while mitigating the undesirable side effects of trade agreements.
