Abstract

Medicinal plants, as vital sources of bioactive compounds, are increasingly exposed to environmental stresses such as drought and high temperature due to global climate change. These stressors adversely affect plant growth, yield, and secondary metabolite production, yet many medicinal plants exhibit unique physiological adaptations that enable survival under harsh conditions.
