Abstract

The novel represents the society in which a woman's status is of the greatest significance. The paper examines the
proposal and the truth of love as her character often struggle to work out the best way to make a satisfied
relationship. The novel depicts the women in her novel as the ones who make societal choice, as the men are the ones
prejudiced by the women in society.
