Abstract

The quality of a country's educators is crucial to the progress of that country's citizens. The factors responsible for quality education and student achievement can be attributed to teachers' knowledge, dedication, quality, professional commitment, and motivation. Today, governments throughout the world have a huge difficulty in trying to produce such educators. As a result of developments in pedagogy, psychology, philosophy, sociology, and globalization, today's educators face a more complex and demanding set of demands than ever before. Today, teacher preparation programmes must be well-thought-out and creative. There is a pressing need in the present day to evaluate, investigate, reform, rethink, and refocus efforts in the area of teacher education. Efforts to enhance the training of educators must be made on three fronts.
