questioned many traditional aesthetic precepts. It impacted philosophy, music, architecture, literature, and the arts.
With the motto of the avant-garde, it was characterised by non-traditional aesthetic innovations. The
experimentation leads to different movements in disciplines like Futurism, Dadaism, Surrealism, Cubism,
Constructivism, Imagism and many others.
